Can’t even imagine what the treatment was for this incredibly unique video from director Nic Hamilton. Very slick work and I love the colour palette.

Simple and beautiful work from director Ismael Moumin. Aside from a handful of very subtle VFX shots, the vast majority of the video is just two dancers on a plain background. Using clever framing and great editing Moumin creates something really sensual and memorable.

Toronto directing collective Common Good have taken a really interesting approach to the “dancing in public” music video concept. They’ve gone with a stripped down almost run and gun style of shooting. You really feel like you’re following the dancer around the city instead of it feeling like a video shoot. Lots of great locations as well.

Gorgeous title sequence from Patrick Clair who was also responsible for the amazing opening of True Detective. We can only hope the show lives up to these titles.
